Family and friends of fourteen month old ‘Wee Will’ have taken on the extraordinary task of collectively completing a 1000 mile challenge in order to raise research funds for the Myotubular Trust.

We were privileged to have witnessed the first leg of the challenge on Saturday 8th May when Fiona Collins, Caroline Beaumont and Paul Inskip joined us for the Myotubular Trust Thames Towpath 20 mile walk from Hampton Court to Battersea Park . Simultaneously, Will’s great auntie, Margaret Hislop and her friend, Sheila McKay, walked 10 miles at Ben Venue in the Scottish sunshine!

Two groups of team members will shortly be heading off to complete the Three Peaks Challenge within just 24 hours! That’s closely followed by the 54 mile London to Brighton bike ride.

Then, members of the team who have any energy left are also taking part in the ASICS London 10k and the Run to the Beat half marathon.

We would like to wish each and every member of Team Will the very best of luck as they take on their individual challenges and to thank them too for their tremendous support.
