A special thank you to Peter, Ian and Tony who walked 20 miles for the Myotubular Trust!

Peter Ryan, whose 19 month old son Aaron has myotubular myopathy, completed a Manchester 20mile walk on Saturday 4th July along with Aaron's grandad, Ian Caddick and Aaron's carer, Tony Crook.

Peter planned a route that took them through some of the beautiful landscape of Manchester, starting at Peace Hall in Halifax and finishing at Oldham Town Hall , via Saddleworth Moor, Ripponden and Sowerby Bridge. In all, they walked for 8 hours and 15 minutes in sunshine!

Peter, Ian and Tony managed to restrain themselves from entering any pubs en route but decided to treat themselves to a well deserved pint when they arrived in Oldham; but what a disappointment to arrive in a pub that had no lager! Thank you so much Peter, Ian and Tony; we're so glad you eventually found the best pint you've had in a long while to complete your day's activities.
