On 18th July, Karen Vardy and Dave Blunsdon held their charity golf day, The Jack Blunsdon Memorial Tournament, in honour and in memory of their beloved son, Jack. 34 of Dave’s friends braved the wind to play 18 holes of golf at Hillbarn Golf Club in Jack’s memory.

Each player paid a £10 entrance fee and made donations for refreshments as they made their way around the course and then bid in the auction for rounds of golf at various courses around Sussex, all of which were very generously donated. Our thanks go to all who supported the event and to Karen, Dave and Hayley Ball for arranging such a successful event which raised £983.37.

As Karen said, ‘Not bad for one days work!’
