Fundraising - Myotubular Trust's Guinness World Record for Longest Bunting

The Myotubular Trust's World Record for the Longest Bunting was recognised with an Early Day Motion in Parliament on 20.07.2006.

In summer 2005 and inspired by the Glastonbury Festival flags, the idea for the Myotubular Trust's longest bunting line to help launch this charity, was conceived.

In 2007 , the flags, which achieved a Guinness World Record™ for being the longest bunting line at just over 1.5km long were displayed at the famous Glastonbury Festival, which helped to further promote funding and awareness to find a cure or treatment for children with myotubular myopathy.

The flags were displayed in Emily Eavis' field "The Park" which was beautifully designed with the help of the talented, Misty Buckley.
